Bo Bushong

As a Vice President, Bo evaluates potential new investments and works directly with existing assets. He supports EGI’s investments in Baja Aqua-Farms, a Bluefin tuna ranching operation, and Cross Border Xpress, a bi-national airport terminal that connects San Diego directly to the Tijuana Airport. Bo previously served on the board of Lanter Delivery Systems, an asset-light dedicated delivery service provider.

Prior to joining EGI in 2023, Bo was a director at Convoy, where his teams built and led new programs for the digital freight network to support rapid growth and improve margin, service, engagement, and user satisfaction. He also worked at McKinsey & Company and partnered with clients across industries to identify and assess opportunities, build plans, and implement strategies to drive growth, increase profitability, and build capabilities. Earlier in his career, Bo worked at GE across a variety of manufacturing roles to lead operations, launch new product lines, and improve business performance.

Bo holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
